The UST SOCIOLOGICAL SOCIETY is a duly recognized organization of AB Sociology students committed to promote historical, critical, culturally relativistic, open minded and developmental study of man and society, and to put into practice this knowledge for the advancement of the Filipino people.

SOCIOLOGY is the newest social science which studies transformation of man into groups such as families, tribes, and racial groups, communities, various political and economic organizations, and their interaction. It deals with the interplay and interdependence of social institutions, variety of social relations, and analyzes social systems and structures. It critically examines the roots of social problems and issues, its impact on society and conceptualizes feasible social plans that promote social change.
